Personal Coaching

From reflection to direction
A calm, confidential space to understand what is happening, reconnect with yourself and find your own direction forward.
When life asks for reflection
Sometimes there is a clear question or decision in front of you. At other times, you simply sense that something in your life no longer feels quite right.
Personal coaching offers a calm and confidential space to pause, reflect and understand what may be asking for your attention. There is no fixed programme or predetermined outcome. We begin with what is present for you and explore from there.
You may come with a specific situation, or simply with the feeling that you need space to think, reconnect with yourself and find greater clarity.
You might recognize this
- You feel successful on the outside, yet something within you feels unresolved.
- You are going through a life or work transition.
- You have relocated or are adjusting to life in a different country or environment.
- You feel stuck or uncertain about your direction.
- You are carrying many responsibilities and have little space to hear yourself.
- You are questioning what you really want next.
- You simply need space to think clearly and reconnect with yourself.
What guides my work
01
LISTENING
Giving your experience genuine attention.
We begin by listening closely to what is present, including what may be difficult to put into words.
02
REFLECTION
Seeing what may be underneath the surface.
Thoughtful questions and reflection can reveal patterns, needs and perspectives that are difficult to see alone.
03
PERSPECTIVE
Creating enough distance to see more clearly.
Stepping back from a situation can open new ways of understanding what is happening.
04
DIRECTION
Turning clarity into movement.
We explore what feels meaningful to you and what your next step might be.
What happens during a coaching session
We begin with what is present for you at that moment. There is no fixed programme and no pressure to arrive with a perfectly defined question.
Through conversation, questions, reflection and moments of silence, we explore what is happening beneath the surface and what may need your attention. I listen not only to what you say, but also to what keeps returning, where you hesitate and where something begins to shift.
When helpful, we may use simple reflective practices such as writing, breathing or moments of mindful attention.
Sessions can take place while walking through Rotterdam or sitting together in a quiet setting.
The aim is not for me to tell you what to do, but to help you hear yourself more clearly.
What a session can bring
Depending on what you bring into the session, you may leave with:
- Greater clarity around what is happening and what matters to you.
- A different perspective on a question, pattern or decision.
- A stronger connection with your own values and sense of direction.
- Greater awareness of what may be asking for your attention.
- Practical points or questions to continue exploring afterwards.
Why we walk
Walking changes the quality of attention.
Movement can create a different kind of space for thinking. Rather than sitting opposite one another throughout the session, we move side by side through the city. The surroundings, rhythm of walking and natural moments of silence become part of the reflective process.
For some people, this makes conversation feel more natural and allows thoughts to unfold differently.
Rotterdam is not something we need to escape from. The session takes place within everyday life, among movement, architecture, water and changing surroundings, while creating space to slow down internally.
Deep Listening: The Art of Allowing
A central part of this work is creating space for what needs to emerge. There is no pressure to produce insights.
Sometimes clarity appears immediately. Sometimes it takes time.
Both create movement.

Up to 3 hours · Rotterdam
Sessions are intentionally spacious: Rather than fitting reflection into a conventional short appointment, we allow enough time for the conversation to unfold without rushing toward an answer.
Your contribution is self-determined and reflects what feels fair for both the value of the work and your current circumstances. You are invited to choose an amount that resonates with you, honoring both the depth of the session and your individual context.
Resonance Being is not designed around frequent or indefinite appointments. For many people, one to three sessions provide enough space to uncover what needs attention and find a clearer direction forward.
